Johanna Kindvall

Johanna Kindvall is a Swedish illustrator and home-baker. She is the co-author and illustrator of Fika and author and illustrator of Smörgåsbord, both published by Ten Speed Press. Johanna is a passionate bread baker (mostly sourdough) who loves sharing it along with a selection of home cooked dishes. When she is not in her studio drawing, you can find her in the kitchen baking bread or in the woods picking mushrooms. She loves visiting farmers markets, cooking everyday meals, eating craft chocolate, making miso, traveling, and hosting dinner parties with interesting wines and beer. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Saveur Magazine, and Cool Hunting.
