Creamy, tangy, and packed with pickle flavor, this protein-rich dip comes together in minutes. Pair it with chips for a crowd-pleasing snack or fresh vegetables for a healthier after-school option. I know it’s practically sacrilegious to admit, but I’m not a fan of mayonnaise, sour cream, or even Ranch dressing. Greek yogurt and cream cheese are my go-to substitutes because they add richness while boosting the protein. In this dip, they’re the perfect pairing with the bright, briny pickle flavor.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- •8 oz cream cheese, softened
- •1 cup 5% Greek yogurt
- •1/2-2/3 cup dill pickle relish or finely diced dill pickles, lightly drained reserving pickle juice
- •1 tsp onion powder
- •1/2 tsp garlic powder
- •1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- •2-3 green onions, finely sliced
- •1 tsp green goddess seasoning, ranch seasoning, or your favorite all purpose seasoning blend
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, and optional seasoning with 2–3 tablespoons of the reserved pickle juice. Let the mixture sit for 10–15 minutes to bloom the dried seasonings.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a whisk or hand mixer.
Mix in the Greek yogurt until fully incorporated and creamy.
Stir in the bloomed seasoning mixture, dill pickle relish (or diced pickles), fresh dill, and green onions.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish with additional chopped pickles and fresh dill before serving, if desired.
