Kacie Loparto began seaweed harvesting in Maine in 2007 after graduating from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. Following her nomadic spirit, Kacie has been selling and educating about seaweed both on the East Coast and in the San Francisco Bay area. In her free time she studies traditional songs from the Celtic and Appalachian traditions.
