James Beard-award winning food journalist Kathy Gunst lives in a small town in southern Maine where she writes, gardens, teaches and talks about food on the award-winning NPR show, Here and Now. In the winter she lives in LA to be near her daughters and grandchildren, obsessing over the quality of the ingredients found at farmers markets in southern California. Gunst also teaches a class called “Finding Voice—Food and Memoir Writing” around the US and Europe. She reports from the East, West and her travels on food finds, seasonal gems and what inspires her along the path.
